Director Ramana who came to limelight with Thirumalai was much in demand as a director.

Seeing this producer Chandrasekar booked him for Sullan and went by what the director said The film overshot his budget and result was that the film bombed.

Ramana however got another film a remake of Telugu film Varsham to salvage his name. Despite his flop Ramana has moved into his new Rs 20 lakh flat in K K Nagar the suburb of Chennai. Hope the house proves him lucky.
