The untold story of saint poet Sri Kanakadasaru is what you would find in ‘Ramadhanya’ based on a stage play of Roopantara in Karnataka.

What is that untold story? Sri Kanakadasaru was a soldier before taking up the saintly knowledge and spreading it. He was strongly moved by the Kalinga war. These facts are not told so far. This film of TN Nagesh depicts three shades of the protagonist in this ‘Ramadhanya’.

This is a film by ten producers in Dashamukha Ventures. Venkatesh Savanur, Jambanna B Havalada, Santosh Angadi, Anilkumar Pavali, Govindaraj R, Mallesh Rajagandharva, SN Rajeshekhar Boodal, Mahantesh G Tavamshi invested on this film.

Desi Mohan has scored music for this film. Sri Kanakadasa and Purandaradasa poems are utilized for this film and Veera Samarth in background added extra strength for the film feels the producers.

Director Nagesh has connected the film ‘Ramadhanya’ in three shades from 15th century to 21st century. Nagesh is in touch with Sri Kanakadasa community groups to market this film.
