Narendra Modi today spoke about the formulation of Shri Ram Janambhoomi Tirath Kshetra, a trust that will oversee the construction of a magnificent Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This has been done by the Centre as per the directives of the Supreme Court in the Ram Janambhoomi-Babri Masjid case.

Welcoming the movie, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that the trust will have 15 members, including one from the Dalit community. "This decision will promote social harmony," Shah said.

Uma Bharti, senior BJP leader and former Minister, welcomed the move and emotionally said, "We are ready for the second trial involving me and LK Advani ji. We will do whatever we can. We are ready to be even hanged for this."

On the other hand, AIMIM leader and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi has seen politics in the timing of the announcement. "The session of Parliament will end on Feb 11. The announcement could have come after Feb 8 (the date of Delhi elections). Looks like the BJP is worried over the elections," Owaisi remarked.
