Energetic Star Ram Pothineni is leaving no stone unturned for his ambitious pan-India project #RAPO23, which is currently progressing at a brisk pace. The latest shooting schedule is underway in the picturesque locales of Pondicherry, where the team is filming key sequences on a grand scale.
Produced by Krishna Pothineni under the Rapo Cinematics banner with a lavish budget, the film is particularly special as it marks Ram Pothineni’s directorial debut. Apart from playing the lead role, Ram is also helming the project, making it one of the most ambitious films of his career.
The makers are currently shooting an extensive 15-day schedule in Pondicherry. This schedule includes the filming of a visually rich song choreographed by acclaimed dance master Brinda, along with several high-octane action sequences designed by popular stunt choreographer Vikram Mor, known for his work in blockbuster films such as KGF: Chapter 1, Kantara, and Karuppu.
Ram Pothineni is actively participating in the ongoing schedule, seamlessly balancing his dual responsibilities as both actor and director. The production team is mounting every sequence on a grand scale to match the film’s ambitious vision and cinematic appeal.
Conceived by Ram himself, #RAPO23 is described as a psychological action thriller set against a gripping neo-noir backdrop. The film promises an unconventional narrative with stylish visuals and intense action, making it one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Ram’s career.
The film also boasts a highly accomplished technical crew. National Award-winning cinematographer Thirunavukarasu (Thirru) is handling the visuals, while renowned action choreographer Peter Hein joins Vikram Mor in designing the action sequences. Veteran production designer AS Prakash is creating elaborate sets to enhance the film’s scale and visual grandeur.
