The controversy behind the fire mishap at the COVID Centre in Swarna Palace hotel in Vijayawada, organised by the management of Ramesh Hospitals is taking different turns with each passing day. There are a lot of questions that remain unanswered. But behind all that is happening, the fact is that many people have lost their loved loves in this accident and many others undergoing treatment.

Actor Ram Pothineni, who is the nephew of Dr Pothineni Ramesh of Ramesh Hospitals, has shared a series of tweets with some bills and documents which make us believe that there is definitely a political aspect to the entire incident.

He wrote, “SWARNA PALACE was a QUARANTINE CENTRE run by the GOVERNMENT until RAMESH HOSPITAL took permission to convert it into a Covid Care Centre when REQUESTED by the GOVERNMENT! HAD THIS FIRE ACCIDENT TAKEN PLACE 3 weeks earlier when it was RUN by the GOVERNMENT, WHO WOULD THEY BLAME?” (sic)

He further tweeted, “I doubt there’s a HUGE CONSPIRACY to show the CM of AP in bad light.I request @ysjagan garu to look into it as a few people under him might be doing this without his knowledge. This is causing huge damage to his reputation & Honest approach, amongst all of us! #APisWatching.”

At the same time, the truth is that Ramesh and his family are hiding somewhere. The website of the hospitals has also been taken down and the management is not responding to any calls or queries.

In another hotel called Minerva, in Vijayawada itself, he is running another COVID centre and this too has been in news. In Swarna palace as well, it is said that he has more than 26 patients who are not patients at all. Yes! They were COVID-19 negative and still, he got admitted into his hospital to make money from them.

Slowly, this incident is turning into a TDP Vs YSRCP war also.
