Tamil superstar Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth recently stunned their fans by announcing their saperation after being married for 18 years. While their fans are devastated after this news, Bollywood filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma took this as an opportunity to tell the world how terrible the idea of marriage is. He posted a series of tweets in which he talked about how marriage is contradictory to the idea of love.
RGV started off by saying, "Star divorces are good trendsetters to warn young people about the dangers of marriages." In his next tweet, he added, “Nothing murders love faster than marriage The secret of happiness is to keep loving as long as it remains and then move on instead of getting into the jail called marriage.”
His next two tweets read, "Love in a marriage lasts for lesser days than the days they celebrate it , which is 3 to 5 days...Smart people love and dumbos marry.” He also added that divorces should actually be celebrated instead of the weddings.
Finally the director concluded by saying, "Marriage is the most evil custom thrust upon society by our nasty ancestors in promulgating a continuous cycle of unhappiness and sadness."
