For his forthcoming film ‘The Attacks of 26/11’, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has donned a new role. Being one of the few directors who have turned to singing, RGV for the first time has rendered his voice for a song in the film.

However, Varma has sung for the Telugu version of ‘The Attacks of 26/11’, for the track Nethutti Ruchi Mariginda. According to sources, it was music director Amar Mohile behind the idea to make the director sing for the track. Amar said to have managed to convince RGV to sing and bring appropriate voice modulation to keep in tune with the song’s feel.

Produced by Parag Sanghavi of Alumbra Entertainment and Eros International, ‘The Attacks of 26/11’ stars Nana Patekar in lead and the film is all set for a March 1 release. The film is considered to be RGV’s most emotional film till date.
