Director Ram Gopal Varma, who has been known for his controversial statements and tweets and unconventional scripts has not been in the best of form as his recent releases weren't commercially successful and his latest release Lakshmi's NTR has also received negative reviews.

Yesterday the director took it to Twitter to announce his next project, which happens to be the biopic of Sasikala, former ADMK member and the close friend of late former TN Chief minister Jayalalitha. The director released a small poster with an image of Jayalalitha and Sasikala together.

RGV had captioned the poster, "Love is dangerously political" and established the premise of Sasikala movie as the story of a relationship set against merciless men, prisons and Mannargudi gangs. It must be noted that the director had announced way back in 2016 end itself that he has registered title Sashikala. It is to be seen if this project is real or an April fool prank by RGV.
