Director Ram Gopal Varma, who is nowadays more in the news for his twitter controversies is a pioneering genius when it comes to embracing new ideas and the latest technologies. The maverick film maker made the psychological thriller Ice Cream` using the Flowcam Technology at an unbelievable budget of Rs.2,11,832 and the Navdeep-Tejaswi starrer went on to become a super hit in 2014 collecting Rs. 5 Crores at the box office.

Ice Cream` has been acquired by T. Mathuraj of ATM Films who has also written the Tamil dialogues for the dubbed version titled Chocobar` and the film is being released by Hawke Eye Studios. Anji the cameraman of the film is now doing the Jiiva-Hansika-Sibbiraj starrer Pokkiri Raja`. Judging by the Tamil audiences hunger for new themes this radically different thriller from RGV will surely be well received here.
