Sensational filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh high court. The court dismissed his plea to dismiss a case filed against him in Maddipadu of Prakasham district. An FIR has been registered against RGV for making derogatory comments against Chandra Babu Naidu, Lokesh, and Pawan Kalyan.
Ram Gopal Varma allegedly made the controversial comments during the release of his movie Vyuham. Now, he faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh High Court, which rejected his petition seeking protection from arrest and dismissal of a case filed against him.
The case was initiated due to RGV's past social media posts and scenes in his movie Vyuham. The complaint was lodged by TDP leader Ramalingam from Maddipadu in Prakasam district. RGV filed a petition in the High Court to avoid arrest and dismiss the case, but the court refused his request, advising instead that he file for bail.
The High Court has instructed him to comply with the police inquiry scheduled for the next day.
