Upasana opens up on contesting as MP

Is Upasana, the Apollo entrepreneur and Ram Charan's wife, entering politics? Is she going to be fielded against Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Chevella in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections?

All speculative reports must now end. Upasana herself has clarified that she is not going to contest any polls. "I am not joining politics for now. Sangitha Reddy garu is my superior and (her husband) Vishweshwar Reddy babai has developed Chevella. I am completely occupied with my work at Apollo," Upasana today said.

Konda has been with the Congress for some months now. Given his popularity, the TRS is designing special strategies to trump him in his turf in the upcoming LS polls.
