The news is surfacing lately that Mani Ratnam`s next after Kaatru Veliyidai` will be an out and out action thriller and the dashing hero who is going to do the lead role is Ram Charan Teja as reported by us as early as September 2016. Kaatru Veliyidai` starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari is releasing on the 7th of April and the pre-production work for the Ram Charan film will begin immediately and is expected to be a grand Pongal 2018 release.
