Ram Charan takes stand to avoid fan wars?

Ram Charan has taken a stunning decision. He is against box-office numbers being put up on posters.
"I don't get a healthy feeling about the way the audiences see BO figures. Any producer puts out the right figures. But how they are received by people is not in our hands. That said, I sometimes wonder if we (in the film industry) create negative feelings in people (by putting out BO figures). We mean well, though. Since people misinterpret things, why even give scope for any misunderstanding?
I am looking forward to requesting all my future producers to never put out any collections/numbers on posters. What's important is not the figures, but how many people watch a movie. BO numbers create unnecessary controversies," Mega Power Star today said.
The 'Rangasthalam' actor said that Konidela Productions won't talk about collections ever. He was speaking at an event of Happi Mobiles, whose brand ambassador he is.
