The other day, Mega Power Star Ram Charan participated in the 20th edition of the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit. Speaking on the occasion in an interactive session, the 'Rangasthalam' actor opened up about the need for filmmakers to rev up the game to cater to the fast-changing tastes of the audience.
"You have to rethink and restructure the whole game moving forward, from the script to the making to the exhibitor. Everyone has to pitch in. Eventually, a good subject and a good script cannot be stopped. People will come to the theatre,” the 'RRR' actor said, as quoted by Hindustan Times, in the context of the increasing competition from OTT.
Charan made a reference to his father, Megastar Chiranjeevi, acting in a few Hindi-language films decades ago. The actor also evinced interest in acting in movies made by Bengalis and others. He highlighted the fact that boundaries are increasingly getting blurred in today's times.
The Telugu actor shared the platform with Akshay Kumar, who shared his views on the OTT culture and its impact.
