In Thoofan, Ram Charan played a ferocious cop who croons about being with Mumbai always. In real life, he is out to do his bit to make Telangana a safer place for women.

The news is that the Mega Power Star has been chosen as a brand ambassador for an awareness campaign and a self-defence workshop to be held for around 2000 women/girls at People's Plaza. The Government of Telangana has roped in the actor for conducting a special legal awareness campaign and conducting a self-defence workshop.

It has to be seen if Cherry will continue to do more such campaigns and take up such initiatives in future.
