Ram Charan Opens Up About His Acting Process at ‘Peddi’ Coffee Table Chat

The makers of Peddi, one of the most anticipated Pan-India films of the year, have unveiled a special “Peddi Coffee Table Chat” featuring Ram Charan, Boman Irani, and Divyenndu. The candid interaction is now grabbing attention for Ram Charan’s insightful thoughts on performance, authenticity, and character preparation.

Following the massive response to the film’s action-packed trailer, the newly released conversation offered audiences a deeper look into the creative journey behind Peddi. During the interaction, Divyenndu asked Ram Charan about the kind of preparation required to step into a character like Peddi.

Responding thoughtfully, Ram Charan explained that his process is less about calculated preparation and more about emotionally connecting with the narration and remaining truthful to the character.

“I try to understand the flavour of the narration and stay authentic to the emotion of the scene. I never try to overpower a scene. My focus is always on sincerity in the eyes and actions,” Ram Charan shared during the chat.

The actor further added that he believes in “sticking to the skin of the scene” rather than over-performing, a philosophy that has now become one of the most discussed moments from the interaction.

The makers shared the full Coffee Table Chat on social media with the caption:

“Three actors talking about what they love the most… Cinema. #Peddi Coffee Table Chat out now!”

The conversation arrives amid soaring excitement surrounding Peddi, which has been creating strong buzz with its songs, posters, teaser, and recently released trailer.

Set against a powerful sports backdrop, Peddi reportedly travels from rustic village grounds to massive international arenas, blending emotion, action, and sports drama on a grand scale. Ram Charan will be seen portraying a crossover athlete, a role said to carry multiple shades and emotional depth.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features an ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, and Divyenndu Sharma.

The film’s grand musical event held recently in Bhopal witnessed the presence of the entire cast along with Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman, who is composing the soundtrack for the film.

Backed by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings, and IVY Entertainment, Peddi is mounted on a massive scale with top-tier technical talent attached to the project.

The film is scheduled for worldwide premieres on June 3, 2026, followed by its grand theatrical release on June 4, 2026.
