In a recent interview, Ram Charan said that he hugely respects Hollywood filmmakers like JJ Abrams and the genius Quentin Tarantino. The news is that he has got to meet the former. Abrams, who is known for 'Armageddon' (1998), 'Star Trek' (2009), 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' (2015), and 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' (2019), was pleased to host the Mega Power Star.
Taking to Twitter, the 'RRR' actor said that he was privileged to meet the American filmmaker. "Had the privilege of meeting JJ Abrams today. Thank you sir for inviting me this evening. I’m a big fan of your work," he wrote.
This comes at a time when Charan wants to do international cinema. "I want to be part of every franchise that is loved by the audience in different cultures. Cinema is becoming global. It's blurring boundaries and I feel so fortunate to be part of the film industry at a time when this globalization is happening," he recently told the LA-based media house Entertainment Tonight.
