The audio launch of 'Darshakudu' was held on Saturday evening. The event was graced by Ram Charan as chief guest. It was also attended by Vamsi Paidipally, Surender Reddy, Anil Ravipudi, Rakul Preet Singh, Kalyan Krishna, Dasarath, Vakkantham Vamsi, Chandoo Mondeti, BVSN Prasad, Satish Vegesna and others.

An Audio-Visual dedicated to all famous directors in the history of Tollywood was released on the hands of Surender Reddy.

Sudheer Varma said that the film should become a bigger hit than 'Kumari 21F'.

Chandoo Mondeti said that he was inspired by 'Arya', among others, to become a film director. "I am feeling lucky to be here," he said.

Lyricist Balaji thanked Sukumar for letting him write 3 songs in the movie. 'Guppedantha Ee Prema Ki' number from 'Arya-2' is one of his most famous songs.

Dasarath said, "God bless you, Suku. You should continue to give opportunity to real talent. Keep on introducing new directors."

Kalyan Krishna said, "There is some magic in Sukumar garu's films, both his directorials and productions."

Anil Ravipudi said, "I like Singeetham Srinivasa Rao garu, who used to make out-of-box movies. Sukumar sir, in this generation, is similar."

Vakkantham Vamsi said, "Sukumar garu is a thought-provoking director. He is not only making fresh movies, but also is into launching new directors. His support in making me a director has been immense. He knows it well." Tharun Bhascker said, "When I came to the industry, Sukumar sir welcomed me with warmth. I felt like home. He changed many lives with his conception of one-side love. He is not old; he is always young at heart."

Surender Reddy said, "I and Sukumar had planned to launch a banner together and make films like these. But he somehow overtook me. Although we started our journey at the same time, I am inspired by him. When he makes a hit, I get overwhelmed. When he makes a flop, I feel sorry."

Sukumar said that when he heard the narration of 'Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy', he had goosebumps. "He (Surender) is going to make really big with this film," Sukumar said.

Vamsi Paidipally said, "It's a gutsy step on Suku's part to launch a banner. When a director makes a flop, only his career is at stake. When a producer makes a flop, his life is at stake. I don't have the kind of guts Sukumar has. I can't wait to see 'Rangasthalam'. The dialogues are superb."

Music director Sai Karthik thanked Mega fans and also wished the whole team all the best.

Eesha said, "I thank the director for believing in me. I thank everyone for coming here."

Male lead Ashok said, "More than about himself, Sukumar garu thinks more about me. I never wanted to become an actor. Three years back, the director wanted to make me an actor. He trained me to become an actor."

Director Hari Prasad said, "I thank Mega Power Star for being here. I never wanted to direct this film. When I narrated Sukumar a story, he surprised me by asking me to direct. Every director who scores a hit with his debut is helped by a very good technical team. That's why I selected these good technicians. I selected Ashok as hero because of the intensity in his eyes. 'Darshakudu' is a family entertainer, not just a youthful entertainer."

Sukumar said, "I was under the impression that since Charan was born with a silver screen, I have to behave properly. But I am telling you, he is 'matti manishi'. We all became his fans during Palakollu schedule of 'Rangasthalam'. He doesn't even use cosmetics. He uses natural herbs for skin care. He has great musical sense. It's because he learnt Classical music for 8 years. About the director, Hari Prasad was my Google before Internet happened to me. His memory power is that great. Although he has no experience in direction department, he has done it like an experienced filmmaker. Praveen is debuting as cinematographer. He came to me, showed a work of his and told me he would do this film. I liked his confidence. He didn't ask for a small assignment, but the whole film."

Ram Charan said, "I remember only two names when I hear the word director. They are Dasari Narayana Rao garu and K Raghavendra Rao garu. I hope Dasari garu is here amidst us, blessing this film. Sukumar is my favourite director because he is the first person whom I have liked in the shortest time. It took just 10 minutes to start liking him on the first day of the shoot of 'Rangasthalam'. He has so many ideas that a lifetime won't suffice to turn them into movies! His kind of multi-tasking is no joke. I know how stressful it is to be a producer. But Sukumar garu has been handling both 'Darshakudu' and 'Rangasthalam' so well. I know this film's story. Sukumar's films always have a strong love story. Sai Karthik's music is very youthful; I like to work with him in future. Recently, I saw two beautiful films: 'Pelli Choopulu' and 'Ami Thumi'. All of us in the family liked these movies. Eesha is superb in 'Ami Thumi'. As for Babai, I don't have to talk about him because I always like him. We don't talk about our mothers always."
