Mega Powerstar Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde have resumed shooting for the new schedule of Acharya on April 9. The Chiranjeevi-starrer will see the Rangasthalam actor in a crucial cameo of that of a Naxalite, while Pooja plays his love interest and a naxal sympathiser.
According to a source, director Koratala Siva has been filming a high-voltage fight sequence on Ram Charan today in the specially erected set of Dharmasthali village. That's not all, Siva is also planning to shoot a montage song called Neelambari...Neelambari on both Charan and Pooja from tomorrow onwards.
As it happens, Neelambari is Pooja Hegde's character name in the film and the makers have wrapped up half portions of the song in the Maredumilli forests last month. They will now shoot the remaining portions on Charan and Pooja starting tomorrow. The ongoing schedule of Acharya will be completed by April 20 thus marking the culmination of Ram Charan and Pooja Hegde's shooting.
"The entire shooting of Acharya would be completed by this month-end. The following few weeks will be spent on the post-production formalities," the source adds. Also featuring Regina Cassandra in a special song, Acharya has music by Mani Sharma. Buzz is that the film has been postponed from May 13 and the makers are contemplating releasing it in August around Independence Day weekend.
Besides Acharya, Charan is also shooting for Rajamouli's RRR and we hear, a new schedule of the period action entertainer would commence in May. He also has a film with director Shankar in the pipeline and this film will go on floors in July.
