Ram Charan has a shot in the arm because of the ongoing Kollywood shutdown. 'Rangasthalam' will hit the cinemas in as many as 107 screens (counting) on March 30 in Tamil Nadu.  The number is expected to go up in the next 24 hours.  So, this is another of his career-best record after the period drama got sold for the biggest ever amount in his career.  

"This is the highest ever theater count for the star in TN.  Many are offering the film big screens due to lack of Tamil content," says columnist Sreedhar Pillai.  

It may be noted that the film's dubbed version will release in Tamil later this Summer. Mythri Movie Makers will dub it in Malayalam, too.  Also starring Samantha, Jagapathi Babu and Aadhi Pinisetty, it's directed by Sukumar.  Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. Its run-time is 179 minutes.
