Bollywood starlet Alia Bhatt's Jigra, a gripping tale of family, sacrifice, and resilience, is transcending language barriers, and is set to enthrall Telugu audiences with its release in the region.

Rana Daggubati, a prominent figure in South Indian cinema, has joined forces with Dharma Productions to bring the film to Telugu audiences. The distribution will be handled by Asian Suresh Entertainment, marking another successful collaboration between Dharma Productions and Daggubati, who previously collaborated on the release of the Baahubali franchise and The Ghazi Attack in North India.

The trailer showcases Alia Bhatt in a never-seen-before action-packed avatar, playing the role of a protective and loving sister who sets out to rescue her brother from a foreign prison. Vedang Raina, who delivers a powerful performance, also stars in the film, portraying the brother who is enduring torture.

Rana Daggubati expressed his enthusiasm for bringing Jigra to Telugu audiences, highlighting the film's universal themes of family and sacrifice, a sentiment echoed by the film's producers, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra.

Jigra marks another milestone for Alia Bhatt and Dharma Productions, demonstrating their commitment to producing films that resonate across India. The production house has been instrumental in pushing the pan-India wave, presenting Hindi releases of the blockbuster Baahubali franchise, The Ghazi Attack, and Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's Devara: Part 1.
