Ram Charan was the chief guest at the pre-release event of 'Happy Wedding', which will hit the screens on July 28.
"I have not come to this function not just for Niharika's sake. I have come here for the sake of MS Raju garu. I am very happy to be here. I am happy that he has joined hands with UV Creations' Vamsi anna and Pramod garu. UV Creations has been making successful films, either because of their good intentions or good subjects that they are choosing," the actor began saying.
He recalled an incident involving Chiranjeevi and MS Raju's father. "In early 1980s, Nanna garu was broke. He needed Rs. 5000 to run the family. Although he was already working on a couple of movies, the producers of these movies couldn't help him. As the last option, Nanna garu went to MS Raju garu's father and sought a loan of Rs. 5000. And he gave the money immediately. Nanna garu still remembers this incident after all these years. He recently told me about this while having lunch. When MS Raju garu called me up and invited me to this event, I thought I should attend this function dutifully," Cherry said.
"The visuals of 'Happy Wedding' inspire the confidence that the film will be a sure-shot hit. Having watched the trailer, I hope the film will work," he noted.
"I really enjoy Sashikanth's music, especially the 'Fidaa' song featuring Sai Pallavi ('Vacchinde'), which is a huge hit on YouTube. I worked with Murali Sharma garu on 'Yevadu'. I miss not working with him, having watched some of his recent works. I don't have to specially say anything about Sirivennela Seetharamasastry garu. He wrote the songs for my first film ('Chirutha'). He is also writing a very important song in 'Sye Raa'," Cherry said.
"I have known Sumanth Ashwin since childhood. He is a very hard working person. 'HW' should become a milestone in his career," he added.
Mega Power Star said that even someone with bad talent can succeed in the film industry with the right attitude, while those with talent but suffering from bad attitude might not succeed.
