Ram Charan was on Friday given an award by NDTV. 'True Legend- Future of Young India Award in Entertainment' is its name. When the 'Rangasthalam' actor is around, can a reference to 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' and 'Naatu Naatu' be away?
The host did remember the song. When she asked him to dance to 'Naatu Naatu', the actor said that his knees will start hurting if someone talks about the song. "It's one thing that everyone wants. We want to watch you dance it," the host said. "Ma'am, if you talk about that song, my knees hurt. I already have one Rajamouli. Don't be another Rajamouli," Charan said in a lighter vein.
When two gentlemen started dancing, Charan went up to them and joined them for a brief while. Everyone cheered him.
Charan's fans are recalling that this is not the first such honour at the national level for Mega Power Star. He has been honoured by the BSF, invited by Hindustan Times for Leadership Summit (during which he had an interaction alongside Akshay Kumar), and received a nomination in the Best Actor at the American Awards for his performance in 'RRR'.
