'Puli-Meka' is a crime thriller to be streamed on ZEE5 from February 24. It is coming less than a month after the streaming giant brought out the successful crime caper 'ATM', which was written by Harish Shankar. This time, the writer is Kona Venkat, who is currently basking in the glory of the success of Chiranjeevi's 'Waltair Veerayya'.

The teaser of 'Puli-Meka' will be released digitally by Ram Charan on February 17.

Director K Chakravarthy Reddy, actors Lavanya Tripathi (who plays an SIT chief), Aadi Saikumar and others associated with the promising original are excited. For both Lavanya and Aadi, this is their foray into the OTT space.

Talking about the premise of the subject, the makers said, "A female cop leading an SIT and a forensic expert must track down a serial killer who has been going after police officers in the city of Hyderabad. When the going gets tough and the media builds up relentless pressure, the duo confronts a gut-wrenching truth during the investigation."

Suman, Goparaju Ramana, Raja Chembolu, Siri Hanmanth, Srinivas and Spandhana Palli are part of the cast. Made on a rich scale by ZEE5 and Kona Film Corporation, it is conceived and created by Kona Venkat. Shot by Ram K Mahesh and designed by Brahma Kadali, this one is edited by Chota K Prasad. Neeraja Kona is its costume designer. SreeJo penned the lyrics.
