Speaking at the pre-release function of 'Naa Peru Surya', Ram Charan hit out at the media for trying to 'besmirch' the film industry for the "past two months". The 'Rangasthalam' actor mounted the verbal defense by talking about the commitment shown by heroes, directors and everybody else.
"If there is any industry in the world that is bereft of corruption, it's only film industry. We all work hard. We actors work out every morning. Be it Mahesh, Tarak, or anybody. Prabhas has injured his shoulder twice. Nanna garu has injured his shoulder in the past, Balayya garu has injured himself in the past. Tell me where is corruption in the industry? The media have been writing as they like for the past two months. But I am sure people won't take the media seriously. I would urge the media to let us be!" Mega Power Star said.
Before him, Allu Aravind spoke and openly suggested that there is a conspiracy against 'Naa Peru Surya'. "Because of some recent incidents that have upset us in the film industry, there are going to be some attempts to slam 'NPS' (to affect it commercially).
Their aim is to generate mixed talk about our film. Only you (audience) can defy such negative attempts. Many bad developments (against our film) are happening behind the screens," the Mega producer said.
