'Uppena' director Buchi Babu Sana today turned a year older. He is scheduled to wield the megaphone for a movie starring Ram Charan. The Mega Power Star today took to social media to wish the one-film-old director.

"Happiest birthday to one of my fondest directors!! Wishing an incredibly happy and healthy year ahead. See you on sets soon! (sic)," the 'Rangasthalam' actor wrote. By calling Sana "one of the fondest", the 'RRR' actor has displayed the bond between him and the director.

Their film together is a powerful pan-India entertainer. New banner Vriddhi Cinemas and Sukumar Writings (owned by director Sukumar) are bankrolling this project. Presented by Mythri Movie Makers (of Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar), the untitled film is produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru. The film is likely to have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. It will go on the floors later this year.

The film, which is yet to be titled, will hit the screens in 2024.
