Tennis star Sania Mirza on Sunday hosted a farewell bash in Hyderabad. The former doubles world No. 1 has been flooded with congratulations from all quarters.

On Monday, Ram Charan took to social media to raise a toast to the eventful career of the iconic sports star. Calling her a dearest buddy, the Mega Power Star wrote, "Tennis courts across the world will miss seeing you in action. Your contribution to sports in India is unmatched. You continue to make us proud."

The fans of the 'RRR' actor shared old pics of Charan with Sania. The duo have known each other for many years. The 36-year-old sports star was brought up in Hyderabad.

Charan is currently in the US. He has been interviewed by foreign media houses and his opinions have been widely sought after. The 'Rangasthalam' actor has become the voice of Tollywood in the US in the run up to the Oscars event on March 12.
