Last month it was announced that director Ram's 'Taramani' will be hitting the screens on August 11, 2017. The film touted to deal with the lifestyle and insecurities of IT employees has acquired an A certificate from Censor board.

Director Ram said that J. Sathish Kumar of JSK Films Corporation who has acquired the release rights did not accept to implement the cuts suggested by the Censor board opted to go with an Adults Only rating as he felt that the cuts would have diluted the film's content/

Now the makers have made a smart move to take on Censor board. They have said that the board was ready to give U/A certificate for the film if it had only men drinking 'raw' liquor and if women are show as drinking the sam 'raw' liquor the film will get an A certificate Hence 'Taramani' comes with an A certificate.

This is revealed in the new poster of the film announcing the release date. It is indeed a smart way of exposing the double standards of Censor board.

'Taramani' stars Andrea Jeremiah and debutant Vasanth Ravi in lead roles. The film also stars Anjali in an important cameo role.
