Ram Pothineni found a huge blockbuster with Ismart Shankar and he completed his next film, Red, said to be a remake of Thadam. His Nenu Shailaja director, Tirumala Kishore, wrote and directed the film.

The actor thought of releasing his Red in May and then start his next film by June or July. As the situation changed those plans, he is thinking about his debut in Tamil.

He himself told this to media in an interview and shared that he loves to work in Tamil as he grew up in Chennai. He also said that there are many filmmakers who are looking to work with him from Tamil movies in future.

Along with Tamil, he also has plans to make a film in Hindi, if the script suits his body language and aspirations. Well, Pan-India bug seems to have bitten all Telugu heros from Top stars to upcoming heroes.
