As we all know young and energetic actor Vishal will be teaming up with acclaimed director Mysskin for a new film titled as 'Thupparivalan'. The film has been launched with a formal pooja, last month and the shooting is expected to begin soon.

Now the latest development regarding this exciting project is about the heroine. Indiaglitz has learnt from a trustworthy source that Rakul Preet Singh has been roped into play the female lead in 'Thupparivalan'.

Rakul who has carved a niche as a heroine in Tollywood is yet to get her break in Tamil. She has acted in 'Thadaiyara Thakka', 'Puthagam' and 'Yennamo Yedho'. This is her first Tamil film with a top league actor like Vishal and a highly respected director like Mysskin. We can expect Rakul to become the next become the next big thing in Kollywood after 'Thupparivalan'.

Before that, we will have to wait for the official announcement about Rakul's inclusion in the project.
