Rakul Preet Singh confirmed opposite Hindi superstar

It has been rumoured that Rakul Preet Singh will be paired up with Akshay Kumar in the Hindi remake of 'Rakshasudu' (which was a remake of the Tamil-language movie 'Ratsasan'). The mystery thriller will see the Bollywood superstar romancing Rakul.

Bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, the film has been made official. Helmer Ranjit Tewari is on board. To be shot from Friday, the film's remake rights were sold last year itself. Due to the pandemic, it couldn't be taken on the floors.

Meanwhile, Rakul is also in the news regarding Krish Jagarlamudi's movie with Panja Vaisshnav Tej of 'Uppena' fame. To be released in October, the Telugu-language adventure flick has Rakul in an author-backed role. Its title will be revealed this Friday.

In June, the 'Dhruva' actress said that she is too busy to accept new Telugu movies. Ajay Devgn's 'MayDay' and John Abraham's 'Attack' in Hindi are her other most important projects in Bollywood.
