Rakul Preet Singh has bagged an important Bollywood project. The actress will be playing a pilot in 'Mayday', starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead. Directed and produced by 'Tanhaji' actor Ajay Devgn, the film is said to be an edge-of-the-seat drama.

'De De Pyaar De' was Rakul's first movie with Ajay and it was a decent performer at the box-office. The talented actress is thrilled about being seen in an Amitabh movie for the first time. The 'Dhruva' actress today said that she has always dreamt of sharing screen space with the legendary Big B. And 'Mayday' fulfills her desire, finally.

"Can’t express how thrilled I am to be on board as a copilot in #MAYDAY. It’s a dream come true to work with @SrBachchan sir. @ajaydevgn thank youuu and preparing for takeoff," the actress tweeted out.

In Telugu, she is doing Nithiin's 'Check', directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti. With Krish Jagarlamudi, she has shot for a film that also stars Panjaa Vaisshnav Tej.
