Director Hari's 'Si3' has been raking huge collections from all centres and if the opening collections are anything to go by, the third instalment is all set to become a blockbuster addition to the 'Singam' franchise delivered by the director with Suriya.

After 'Si3', Hari is currently busy with the pre-production work for the sequel of his 2003 blockbuster 'Saamy' with Vikram. While Trisha played the female lead in 'Saaamy' which was her first blockbuster hit in Tamil cinema, the sequel is expected to have another heroine in lieu of her character or as a additional heroine like the ones played by Hansika in 'Singam 2' and Shruti Haasan in 'Si3'.

While the makers are yet to open up about the heroine(s) of 'Saamy 2'. we learn from a reliable sources that the team is in talks with two young and promising heroines for the film.

Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa are rumored to be in talks to play the female lead in 'Saamy 2'. Neither of them have acted with Vikram so far and this will be a fresh pairing if materialised.

We will have to wait for an official confirmation regarding the heroine of the film.

'Saamy 2' as revealed by Hari will be an emotional cum action flick with the music score of Harris Jayaraj. Shibu Thameens the producer of Vikram's latest blockbuster 'Iru Mugan' will be bankrolling this film.
