Sections of national media on Thursday had reported that the Narcotics Control Bureau raided Rakul Preet Singh's house in Mumbai. Drugs were reportedly recovered during the raid, which came after the 'Sarrainodu' actress denied that she had received summons. An NCB officer has been quoted as saying that Rakul had been trying to mislead the investigating agency by making 'excuses.' As per Republic TV, it was only after NCB threatened to serve a non-bailable warrant to the 'Dhruva' actress that she accepted that summons had been received.

Latest, Rakul Preet has reportedly claimed, during Friday's questioning, that the drugs recovered during the raid were given to her by actress Rhea Chakraborty.

WhatsApp chats between Rhea and Rakul have been seen as a source of evidence by the NCB. Rakul reportedly said that the chats are authentic.
