Rakul on doing item songs

At a time when an A-lister like Tamannah Bhatia has done at least two item songs (one in Alludu Seenu and the other in Speedunnodu), is Rakul Preet Singh willing to do item songs? In her interview to IndiaGlitz, the ace actress says that Tamannah is a superb dancer. "Tamannah is a superb dancer. I have not thought about item songs. But when an offer comes my way, I will think of it," she says.
If and when an item song is offered to her, will she rest her decision on the hero or the director? "How can I say that at this point of time?" she retorts.
Rakul awaits the release of Sarrainodu on April 22. She will start filming for Surendar Reddy's remake of Thani Oruvan opposite Ram Charan from this month end. Sometime in May, she will start working for Sai Dharam Tej's movie.
