Rakshitha to play different role

Rakshitha is now a producer and will be launching her banner Prem Pictures on January 24. Her first film as a producer will be ‘Jogayya’ which by the way is Shivanna’s 100th film. Actually for Rakshitha the offer to turn producer came from Shivrajakumar’s wife Geetha. And so the actress turned producer is careful and confident in her new role. She candidly admits “It’s my most embarrassing moment when I gave the signing amount to Shivanna”. Why? Rakshitha made her debut in Shivrajakumar’s home banner with Appu opposite Puneet Rajakumar.

Will the Rajakumar family connection bind her? No. Rakshitha frankly says she is open to make films with anyone. Also she is keen to encourage genuine talent from home. She is also not for bringing Mumbai girls paying huge sums too when there are enough local girls.

Rakshitha has plans to work with her buddies like Sharmila Mandre and Ramya in the future. So even she herself might star in one of her films this year.
