The glamour girl of Kannada screen, Rakshitha, has been named as a brand ambassador for Rodeo Drive, a well-known watch bazaar here.

Rakshitha is to shoot for the brand's commercials after finishing the committed shooting assignments.

In the Kannada film industry, actors like Upendra and Darshan have been ruling the roost as brand ambassadors. Rakshitha is the first actress to sign a brand assignment.

She is busy finishing shooting for two of her Kannada films with Darshan and Anirudhdh in the lead - "Mandya" and an untitled project, respectively. In the second film, Vishnuvardhan plays her elder brother.

Rakshitha is also acting in "Suntaragaali" with Darshan. Sadhu Kokila directs the film.
