Remember Rakshitha, the bubbly actress who acted in films like ‘Dhum’ and ‘Madurey’. The bombshell from Bengaluru later bid adieu to acting and entered wedlock with Kannada filmmaker Prem.

She is back in the industry again, however as a producer this time. She has named her production company as ‘Prem Pictures’ and will be producing ‘Jogayya’, the 100th film of Kannada top star Shivarajkumar.

“I made my debut in ‘Appu’ opposite Puneet Rajkumar. I am happy to be associated with the Rajkumars and producing the 100th film of Shivarajkumar is nothing short of a delight. I am feeling proud,” she says.

Claiming that her aim is to promote young talents from Karnataka, Rakshitha adds: “I don’t believe in importing actors and actresses from other States to act in Kannada films. We have enough talents here and should try to bring them to limelight, she says.
