Rakhi Sawant might not be the most popular actress of the industry but she has had her prime. She was quite a sought after dancer in films around early to mid 2000s. Rakhi is also incredibly self aware and she recently openely accepted that she never had enough talent to be a lead actress and she has no regrets about the image she has developed.

In an conversation with a radio host, Rakhi shared, "Not everyone can be a leading lady in Bollywood. Some become item girls, some play mothers, sisters and negative roles."

She further added, "I didn’t have the talent to be a leading lady and I became an item girl, which allowed me to provide for my family, and I have no regrets about that. I am proud that Bollywood gave me a place." Rakhi has appeared in dance numbers like Mohabbat Hai Mirchi, Dekhta Hai Tu Kya etc. She has also done small but memorable acting roles in movies like Masti, Main Hoon Na and Dil Bole Hadippa.
