The shooting of 'Rakhi' directed by creative director Krishnavamsi and jointly produced by KL Narayana and S Gopal Reddy on the banner of Durga Arts with Young Tiger NT Ramarao and Ileana in the lead, is progressing at a fast pace, with brother-sister sentiment as its main concept.

It is a fight by the hero, who works to avoid recurrence of similar injustice meted out to him and his sister to any others. 'Rakhi' gives a neat definition to the 'Raksha Bandhan' that a brother should safeguard his sister like an eyelid to an eye.

Noted music director Devi Sri Prasad is providing tunes to this film, while Sandhya of 'Premiste'-fame is playing the sister of NTR.
