Sometimes in life, you have to knock on opportunity’s door. Other times if you’re really lucky and talented, opportunity itself knocks on your door. A confluence of hardwork, skill, and luck is what had made a farmer Rakesh Unni now a trending topic in social media.
A few days back a video of a humbly Rakesh Unni singing Unnai Kaanadha Naan was widely circulated in the web. When we had also posted his amazing singing video at Indiaglitz, it started trending virally in social media. Seems like Rakesh Unni got finally noticed. And that too, by none other than Shankar Mahadevan. Unnai Kaanadha Naan is a melodious number from Kamal’s ‘Vishwaroopam’ composed by Shankar-Eshaan-Loy.
Shankar Mahadevan didn’t stop at it though. He has been so impressed with Rakesh’s talent, that he actually spoke with him and has assured to ‘take things forward’. This is the unexpected break that Rakesh Unni might have been waiting for!
Not only that, noted composer Sam CS have also promised to use Rakesh Unni in his upcoming albums. Well, isn’t that wonderful and inspiring! We wish the very best for Rakesh Unni for a great career ahead and keep people mesmerising with his voice!
