Rakesh Roshan is a veryShahru ambitious and influential filmmaker. He has produced several amazing films throughout his illustrious career and his collaboration with Shahrukh Khan has been particularly remarkable. The duo teamed up on three films which were King Uncle, Karan Arjun, Koyla. Although all of them were superhits, Rakesh Roshan never collaborated with Shahrukh again.
The reason for this was that by that time, Rakesh's son Hrithik had made his break in the industry and Rakesh preferred to make films with him instead of SRK.
In a throwback interview with Rediff, Rakesh admitted, "After Koyla, I did not cast Shah Rukh Khan in any film because Hrithik Roshan had come into films by then (laughs), so I made Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai with him. Had Hrithik Roshan not been in films, I would have kept making films with Shah Rukh." Rakesh produced the 'Krrish' franchise for his son which is one of the most loved superhero movies of Bollywood.
