The last week release ‘Raju Kannada Medium’ is doing extremely well in the box office and at this time the team of the film headed by producer KA Suresh has invited the Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah to watch this Kannada medium student achievement in the film.

In handing over a letter of invitation producer KA Suresh, director Naresh Kumar, hero of the film Gurunandan have also sought for the GST free for the film that focus the plight of Kannada medium student.

On receiving the letter of request the Karnataka Chief Minister said he would allocate time to watch the film and on GST he has not declared the relief for ‘Raju Kannada Medium’.

For screening of non Kannada films in Karnataka there are cases of 100 percent tax exemption and they are purely on the basis of subject and its narration.
