Actor Rajshekhar will be seen in a dual role in Arjuna, being directed by Kanmani. The film casts him in the role of a father and a son. As the father, Rajsekhar is a farmer who reacts to the social circumstances/issues around him. As the son, Rajsekhar, as Arjuna, throws his weight behind his father.

The actor says that the twists in Kanmani’s story took him by surprise. In the words of the director, "Suryanarayana is an ordinary farmer. The story is about how he reacts to the reality around him and how his son supports him in his endeavour. There is the angle of a stand-off between the farmer's family and a women's police force."

The father is paired with Rekha while the daughter is paired opposite the son. Vandemataram Srinivas is the musi director.

Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ahuthi Prasad and others form the rest of the cast.
