A.Udaykanth's first Hindi film Ladies Tailor will star Rajpal Yadav in the lead. The film is about fashion designer Manish Malhotra. It focuses on his life and how his designs have popularized actresses from Karisma Kapoor to Rani Mukherjee.

It focuses on how Manish is a ladies designer. Manish is shocked by the news that such film is being made on him and that too without his knowledge. The director on the other hand says that there is enough research done on him and he is the best among all the designers present in the industry today.

Rajpal was selected for this role due to his national comic image. He has picked up the role as it is different from all the others he has done or is doing. The actor is doing eleven films including Babul, Benaam, Chup Chup Ke, Go, Malamaal Weekly and so on.

This film is going to be an out an out musical with at least five actresses in the lead opposite Rajpal. His last film Main Meri Patni aur Woh did quite well.
