Rajpal Yadav is undeniably one of the best comedians of Bollywood. Since last two decades, he has been a part of numerous comedy movies and has created a special fanbase for himself. However, despite the significant rise of OTTs in last couple years, Rajpal has maintained a distance from digital shows and movies. In a recent interview with Hindustan Times he explained the rationale behind that decision.

Apparently, Rajpal Yadav wants his performances to be clean and family friendly while most web shows thrive on the creative use of prevalent abusive words. Yadav told HT, "Kala jitni bikharti hai, utni hi nikharti hai. In our country, we have such diverse cultures, stories and concepts, and only a small fraction of that comes on screen.”

The actor added, "I only work on my conditions. For the last few years, I was avoiding the web space because of the abuses in most screenplays. If something (abusive language) is part of the storyline, then it can be accepted, but not just for the sake of it. For me, the concept is bacche, boodhe aur naujawaan, sabko manoranjan mile ek samaan.”

On the work front, Rajpal is all set to make the audience laugh in films 'Bhool Bhulaiya 2' and 'Ardh'.
