Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been well known for his acting in movies such as Gangs of Wasseypur, Badlapur, Kick, Manjhi and Raman Raghav in Hindi, and had made his debut in Tamil this year with the Superstar Rajnikanth starrer Petta, as the main villain.
The actor who is busy with a number of movies in Hindi, has now lost his sister to cancer. On eve of her 25th birthday last year, Nawazuddin Siddiqui had revealed about her fight with cancer "My sister was diagnosed with advanced stage breast cancer at 18 but it was her will power and courage that made her stand against all the odds. She turns 25 today and still fighting."
Nawazuddin Siddiqui's 26 year old sister Syama Tamshi Siddiqui died on Saturday after a battle with cancer. At the age of 18, Syama Tamshi Siddiqui was diagnosed with advanced stage of breast cancer and Nawazuddin Siddiqui had been shooting in the US for Bangladeshi director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's No Land's Man when he got the news of his sister's death.Syama Tamshi Siddiqui's funeral was held at Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ancestral village Budhana.
