Superstar Rajnikanth, who had last met press regarding his political plans before few months, has occasionally spoken regarding the government's activities and had recently condemned the government move of opening TASMAC. Now he has issued an official statement about the Central Institute of Classical Tamil.
While this organisation had been functioning without a director so far, now Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the Union Cabinet Minister for Human Resource Development has appointed Professor R.Chandrasekaran as the first Director of the Classical Tamil institute.
Lauding this move, Superstar Rajinikanth has issued an official statement, thanking the Government for this initiative towards developing Tamil language, and his statement read “To The Honourable Minister Dr.Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishakji. Thank you for your efforts and commitment to the promotion of Tamil language and for appointing Prof. R. Chandrasekaran as the first Director of Central Institute of Classical Tamil in Chennai. With Best Regards, Rajinikanth”. Last seen in Darbar, Rajnikanth will be seen next in Siva's Annaatthe.
