For more than 25 years, fans of Superstar Rajnikanth have been urging him to join politics and launch a political party, and after multiple press meets announcing political entry in recent years, looks like Rajinikanth has planned to quit politics even before launching a party.
In the past few days, a note said to have been written by Superstar Rajnikanth has been making the rounds, where the actor has mentioned factors like corona pandemic, his age and health besides vaccine availability as reasons for the decision to quit politics.
Currently there has been no official confirmation regarding the note from Rajini or people close to him regarding the authenticity of this note. On the other hand, fans and members of Rajini Makkal Mandram are trying to come in terms with this unexpected decision of Rajnikanth and are expecting an official announcement soon.
