In such a situation, BJP member and senior journalist Gurumurthy has said that just like MGR, Rajnikanth is also highly focused on spirituality and patriotism, and has huge support of people and hence when he contests state elections he will turn out to be a major force and become another MGR. He added that he wants Rajni to unite with BJP and that he must decide on it, though he is sure Rajni can excel in politics.
